Trips leave daily from the depot in Bryson City, just a few miles from Hemlock Inn. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is truly spectacular with 53 miles of track, two tunnels and 25 bridges. Choose from a variety of round trip excursions departing from depots in Dillsboro and Bryson City.

Special Spring Package
May 23, 24, 30, 31, 2009: Join the fun as America's favorite hero, The Lone Ranger and his faithful companion Tonto save the day. An exciting event with cowboys, horses, a train robbery, western themed activities & live musical entertainment at the depot. Train ride is one hour and 20 minutes and departs from the Bryson City depot near Hemlock Inn bed and breakfast. We will offer a special Great Smoky Mountain Railroad Package that will include tickets on the Lone Ranger train as well as lodging and two homecooked meals each day. Secondly, we will waive our usual charge for children for the whole weekend. That's right...no charge for the children...Bring the kids and enjoy a great get away in the mountains including a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad with the Lone Ranger.Call us today!
